The Civilian Conservation Corps not only benefits individuals, but it also benefits the nation as a whole. It increases the nations awareness of nature and the nations national resources and teaches younger generations about the nature of their region. Over time, volunteers working with the CCC have planted over 3 billion trees and 800 parks nationwide and have built many transportation and communication stations. The CCC has influenced our nation in many positive ways and will continue to do that.
